Energy Conservation Awareness Program
In the
current global energy crisis and saving energy has become a necessity for
preserving the environment. To make this purpose worthwhile, a special energy conservation
awareness program was organized for the students of Smt. A.V.D.S. College on 07
August 2026. The program was started by the Principal of the college, Dr.
Vachani Saheb, by giving a khadi handkerchief and a pen to the invited expert
speaker. The Principal said in his address that "Energy conservation is
the production of energy" and requested the students to implement this
knowledge in their daily lives. During the program, experts discussed household
energy conservation, renewable energy sources, electricity saving tips, LED
lighting, etc. (LED) Bulb usage and measures to prevent electricity wastage due
to old wiring and various government schemes were given detailed guidance: The
senior professor of the college thanked the guests and participating students
for the successful organization of the program. The entire program was
organized under the Student Startup and Innovation Club of the college.
