Cyber Police Station Visit
Smt. A.V.D. Savjani Arts and Commerce College organized an educational visit under Cyber Security Awareness with the aim of instilling a sense of security among the students with the increasing prevalence of technology. Under this program, a total of 40 students of the college and 2 teaching staff visited the Cyber Police Station located in Junagadh. During the visit, the students visited the Cyber Police Station directly and understood the working structure there and got information about the process of registering cyber crimes and the steps taken by the police department for its prevention. They got basic information about staying safe in the digital age, became aware of the work done in the Cyber Police Station and the methods of solving crimes and understood how to protect themselves against online fraud and crimes. This visit has created awareness among the students about cyber security. In the current era when cases of online fraud are increasing, such practical visits will prove helpful in providing a safe digital environment to students.
