Voters` Pledge Ceremony
India is a democratic country and the vote of every citizen is valuable to strengthen the foundation of democracy. To achieve this objective, a special program was organized by the NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of the college to create awareness among the students about voting. At the beginning of the program, NSS volunteers and college students together took the `Voter Pledge`. The resolutions made in this pledge included having complete faith in democracy, maintaining the limits of the democratic traditions of the country, and voting fearlessly in every election without any kind of fear, greed, religion, caste or caste discrimination. Addressing the students, NSS Program Officer Dr. Anil Hothi said that young voters are the future of the country.
